Frequently Asked Questions!

Q: What's the deal about asking to use your sprites?
A: Simple enough, I know ALOT of sites & online games that have taken my sprites without asking first, when they all know DAMN WELL that I work till my eyes bleed on all of these sprites, so the LEAST I ask of you.. is to get permission off me first (that's if your going to use it on some site, or game, since that's commercial use) and if you are using it for [insert game/site here].. all I want from you, is a link back to my INDEX page (not the indexframe, like every damn moron does) because it'll count as more traffic for me, if you link to the indexframe, well, it isn't counted onto those hits..

However, if you want to download them and admire them on your own comp.. then by all means, do so, no need to ask.. but, if its going to be used at some later date for [insert reason/game/site/whatever] here, just link back to my site. Is it really that much to ask? damn.

Q: Nice walkthrough! Yours?
A: Yes, actually. I typed it from the first character to the last character. In light of recent idiots questioning me about using the FAQ from Dingo Jellybean -> Yes, I have used DJ's FAQ, but after using it as a base design for my current FAQ (my personal FAQ, not DJ's) I have deleted DJ's FAQ from my site as it is of no further use to me.

So stick any legal threats you got for me, up your ass. They are irrelevant now.

Q: Alot of sprites you got there, How do you make them?
A: Screenshots, i edit them one at a time saved from the emulator. Photoshop is fucking handy for that, as ive got it set perfect to select/remove pixels i don't need on the shot, thus making my job that little bit easier. All in all, for the sprites i do have on my site currently. Hmm... 10,000+ screenshots? at the least, fuck, its been a LONG time since i started this shit up ^^

Q: Cant you make them in PNG! I want to use them in RPGMaker!
A: No, fuck you =P if you want them in PNG, download them yourself and do the conversions.

Q: In your gifs, who is this "Braska Spira" guy?
A: Ok, a while ago (about erm... February 2002) he was a member of this msg board i goto.. he was pretty cool for a while, until he started to go on about how... all of the old games need to be erased because they are old, all of the new skool were better (through his eyes anyway) this pissed me off quite a bit.. since im an old skool freak myself.. i called up a meeting with the rest of the msg board Moderators to have him banned for going on about all the stupid things he did (preaching new skool, making a death list of old skoolers, telling old skoolers to piss off because they are threatening the new stuff) and the vote passed.. and in the end he was vanquished from the msg board.. and all is well..

Q: Final Fantasy IV.. what is that?
A: The best Final Fantasy RPG out there.. was released after FFIII(Jap) and before FFV.. heh

Q: Um.. the Paladin Cecil always loses the fights in your gifs.. why is that?
A: Simple! I hate Paladins!.. mainly because of the fact that Cecil traded in his "Evil" to become a Paladin.. which really pissed me off.. as a Dark Knight he had a kickass reputation for doing evil stuff! and well, Evil stuff is kewl in my book. Sides, the Paladin is Holy.. and yuk, I cant stand Holy stuff (Q below covers that)

Q: C'mon.. seriously, why don't you like the Paladin?
A: Bad memories, religiously linked i might add.. makes me remember all the flaws of that damn Hypocrisy people tend to call "Christianity" these days. Plus, Cecil looks kind of... queer? with the Tiara.

Q: Can I help you with your site? like work on stuff while your not there?
A: Nope :p

A: Because.

Q: Can you make me a gif?
A: Yes and No, its been a LONG TIME since I last made a gif, so I haven't really been assed making anything =\ so, if you do a request I wont promise anything.

Q: Could you help ME with MY site?
A: Maybe, what's in it for me?

A: Several Reasons, I could list;

Working on Sprites and not letting anyone know like RIGHT AWAY that I'm working on them.

Q: Think the day will come around when you WONT like FFIV anymore?
A: Meh, not for a long time yet I can tell ya..

A: Heh, fuck you, I like the way I live very much. ^_^

Q: How long did it take you to make this site?
A: WELL, for this new FFIV layout.. it took about an hour of thinking which frames would be better where, etc.. after deciding that i went onto colours, again.. i was baffled, took up a few minutes deciding that lol.. then, the first thing i did officially was the walkthrough.. yes, the walkthrough... that alone took me about 2 weeks to fully complete, yes you heard me right.. 2 weeks.. it was a straight forward process writing the Walkthrough out, but then i had to format the HTML, get all the pics, make constant adjustments, find out a had stuff missing, put it in, then review the whole thing, check grammar/spelling etc.. and then i hoped onto the rest of the page.. its all logged down in my Previous Updates, located on the menu.

Q: What do you do when your NOT working on your site?
A: Eh, anything goes... namely;

Q: Why are you so bent on writing down all these "Stats" for your FFIV Characters?
A: Im a perfectionist :D... im striving to make the perfect set of characters and show them off.. lol, nah.. i like keep a log of it all for future reference, sides.. i like to see it when any other character wipes the floor with the Paladin Cecil (which i am currently in the process of doing) i think i mention this in another update.. i currently have Rydia at level 76, and at the rate i am going.. she is due to have atleast 115 for all of the major stats besides Agility i think... or was it Vitality? blargh! one of them.

Q: Can I submit a gif to your site for hosting and display, etc.
A: By all means, more the better.. i have all the details on the actual User Made Gifs page, but I'll put them in here.. simply submit your gif via email to either of my addresses (Yahoo or IInet preferably) due to size limits on Hotmail, it tends to piss me off getting full so damn quick. Yeah anyway, send the gif, along with your email (I'll probably already have it since you sent me the email lol!) and if you have a site, gimme the url to that aswell, I'll see to it that you get (a bit) more traffic, heh ^_^
