Monsters ~ RedGiant, Warlock, Behemoth, Kary, D.Bone, King-Ryu

RedGiant ~ None (uses Emission ~ weak Fire attack vs all characters, Beam ~ 10% HP attack)
Warlock ~ None (casts Fire2, Psych, Wind, Drain, Bolt2 -> cast Mute on him ASAP)
Kary ~ None (strong vs. all magic)
Behemoth ~ None (counters all attacks, Magic & Regular w/ a Regular attack)
D.Bone ~ Fire (counters magic w/ Flame 1-3 characters, regular atk random effect of Venom)
King-Ryu ~ None (regular counter / Entangle [Hold], random Blitz* casting on one character)
* Blitz is randomly set for 10% of your Max HP, or 50% of your Max HP, keep the HP up.

Remember how I said "Here comes the Pain" earlier on? yeah, well this is a better definition of it. I must stress that you SAVE OFTEN, once you have killed a certain few monsters and/or knocked down a few roadblocks, cast Exit and heal up/save then go back down. You wont regret it let me tell you that much. One recommendation I can give out, is to give Cecil that Avenger Sword we got earlier on down in that damned Slyvan Cave.. he may sacrifice some Defense for it, but his attack is insane and he is in constant Bersk so you need not give him directions. Remove the Avenger Sword when facing a Behemoth though. Now for some directions as to get around, from entering head directly South all the way to reveal a chest [Genji Gauntlet], go back up East and to the North of that wall, there be a secret passage which leads to a chest [Genji Shield] so backtrack and head South to find yourself a staircase.

Next floor, follow the path around West then North and you'll land another chest [Genji Armour], then go far East for another [Genji Helm] then head back to that bridge in the middle (that's all the treasure for the cave, bah).. I would recommend you exit and Save here due to the nature of the next battle, otherwise jump right on in to face your first Behemoth!

Ashura

Behemoth
HP: 23,000
MP: 1437
Att: 154
Def: 4
EXP: 57,000
GIL: 65,000

First off I must point something out that will save you from screwing yourself with a rusty fork, unless you know how much HP he has left.. DONT USE MAGIC ** unless, as put in the last little bit, you know what his HP is at... they do have 23,000 HP to shave down so its not exactly a fast process.

Another thing to keep in mind, you may have Cecil equipped with that Avenger Sword right? well, you really should Unequip it for just these battles as the reason behind it is -> Behemoth counters all attacks, and if Rosa, Edge or Rydia aren't setup just yet (Blink, Protect, whatever else, etc) you can be slaughtered due to the constant counter attacks.

Did I mention not to use magic?

** In the Final Fantasy Anthology, European version, the Behemoth does not counter magic with the Maelstrom ability, it counters magic with a regular attack of its own. But on multiple ROM patches of the title you can expect to see the counter ability of Maelstrom sodomize you.

Continue North through the next set of stairs to find yourself on the lower levels of the place. It may look like a simple little walk South but I can assure you its far from it, there are 2 points down that path where you must do a mandatory Behemoth battle, you cannot escape it either so watch yourself. A certain period after slashing your way through Behemoth's, you come to a shrine of the sort with a purple guy in the middle. That is Bahamut, and he wants to kick your ass (well, not really, you can challenge him or run, lol) so prepare yourself according.

Bahamut
HP: 45,001
MP: 2812
Att: 174
Def: 7
EXP: 35,000

************

Hmm.. big aint he? I can straight out say that this will be one of the simpler battles you will be doing, why? Bahamut doesn't use regular attacks, or any magic. So he is open for a complete slaughter, only catch is that he has a countdown -> when he reaches 1 he will cast MegaFire which will do in upwards of 9999 to all your party (yes, 9999, give or take)... SO! Get Rosa to cast Wall on herself, then on asmany other characters as she can*. If you have any StarVeil items use them now as they have the same effect as Wall but it lasts longer then the normal spell.

That's about it really =\ just keep up the attack and keep an eye on the status of your Wall and you should be cool. Bare in mind his 45,001 HP isn't exactly going to fall down in a few turns ^^;

* Rosa needs Wall first, since she can cast Wall on everyone else.. if you lose the ability to cast Wall, you lose the ability to survive that MegaFire which deals anywhere between 4000 - 9999 damage to everyone.

Returning to the Town of Mist

Remember the Town of Mist? jump in your Airship and head on over, land outside and head on into the town. Walk through until you come into the open, then go directly North into that house.. its empty? hmm. Take note of the fireplace, that's "empty" too so take up the space and walk into it, then take a East turn and you will find yourself in a secret area. [Tiara, Clothes, RubyRing].. that's not all folks, if you continue East there's ANOTHER path which leads you to the last chest in the house. [Change Rod], let me tell you this.. this rod is very handy in battle, you can use it as an item at the enemies and turn the target into a Pig (same effect as the spell Piggy) but the Rod is much more successful then the actual spell.

Who should you equip these items on? well, I collected these when I had Tellah in the group back at Troia so I gave him the Change Rod, he cant equip the Tiara since its a female only item. (damn sexist! lmao) Its best to hold onto both items however, this is exactly why I Unequip characters before they leave the party as it benefits you in the long run. The town yields a few more treasures, exit the house and go directly East into that clump of grass, there's a hidden chest so keep hitting the X button and you'll get yourself a [Bomb], now go all the way South until you come across a well on the side of the Armour Shop, go East and you'll find yourself in a secret passage. Make your way around into that small field of grass and the top 2 squares of it are chests. [Bomb x2].. What's with all the Bombs? damn. Check out the Weapon/Armour shops if you like;

Bard Robe ~ 70g

Hmm.. Edward left the group long ago so that shop be useless. Funnily enough everyone in the party can equip it, lol.

Whip ~ 3000g
Dancing Knife ~ 5000g

Now this is an interesting selection isn't it? at this point of the game the Whip has no purpose but you can have fun with that Dancing Knife. The main feature of that Knife I believe, is that it inflicts random status ailments to the monsters you hit so its open to experimentation, its got a low attack power so go abuse some stronger monsters and see what results you get.

Monsters ~ Staleman, Skull, Lamia, BlackCat

Staleman ~ Ice
Skull ~ Fire, Holy (random effect of Curse with regular attack)
Lamia ~ None
BlackCat ~ None (uses Bluster, KO attack on one character)
Mad Ogre ~ None

Edge's former castle (South/West of the Underworld entry/exit). Well, its still his castle but its minus the population due to the whole.. bombing thing, heh. Enter the castle and just keep on going North through the main chamber, most of the chests are open besides that one in the North/East corner [HiPotion], for the sake of getting all the treasures first, head back down through the door and go to the Western Tower. There is a chest either side on this first floor, you cannot get to them from your current position so head up the stairwell, in the Pot above the stairs is a [Bacchus] yet the rest contain nothing. Go South in-between those pots to reveal a secret passage, follow this around to grab those 2 chests [Mute Arrows, 10000g] then make your way back around to the path on the West side, there is a set of stairs to the South so keep going down. You go down a floor to reveal one of those chests we couldn't get to earlier [Kamikaze], walk South once more up the stairwell to find yourself back up a floor.

The chest to the East side is simple enough to get, walk down 1 square East of the Door, then head to the East, follow the secret path to find yourself infront of the chest [Sleep Sword], monster chest (Staleman, Skull x4). Woo Hoo -.-, battle is easy as piss at the party's current level so it should be a pushover. Once done, make your way out of the Western Tower, over to the Eastern Tower now! First floor you'll see chests on either side of the room, in the North/West area behind that column is a secret passage -> follow it around to get a [Coffin], the other chest cannot be accessed from the current floor so head up that staircase. Use the switch to the side of the door then head around the bottom of those stairs, in the third pot is a [Hermes], chests on the West -> [Exit, Ether1] then on the East -> [Cabin, BloodSpr] to get the chest with the pit infront of it head back and go through the passage North of the pit, easy to spot. Its a monster chest though so lets have some fun [Lamia, BlackCat x2].

Drop down that Pit to behold the chest we couldn't access last time [HrGlass2], head South down a stairwell to find yourself in the Basement. Follow the path and we see 3 chests [Ether1 x2] and [Ag Apple] which is a monster chest [Mag Ogre x3]... and that's it for Eblan Castle.. wasn't too hard now was it? ^.^

Mythril Village

You can head over to Mythril Village. To get there you can either go directly South from Fabul, or head due East from Baron then North once you get sight of land. Go right on in but hmm.. its full of animals? what in the fuck? you can even talk to them but you dont really need to do any of that nonsense, heh. What you want to do is head on up to the Weapons / Armour shop.

Mythril Staff ~ 4000g
Mythril Dagger ~ 3000g
Mythril Mallet ~ 8000g
Mythril Sword ~ 6000g

Under the impression that they are uber right? well its quite the opposite in a sense. All this Mythril weaponry is kind-of outdated to a few characters but may be handy to others. So its your call to buy anything but what they have equipped now should suffice (in my game, atleast, you may have a different setup altogether).. over to the Armour Shop.

Mythril Shield ~ 1000g
Mythril Helmet ~ 3000g
Mythril Armour ~ 17000g (fuck!)
Mythril Gauntlet ~ 2000g

Whoa, that's quite pricey armour they got there. Kain came already-equipped with all the Mythril Equipment you will ever need, so it leaves the option open to buy it for someone else. Namely Cecil, if you are like me and still has his Paladin Tiara & Gauntlet still equipped, you may want to swap them around for Mythril. It'll give him that little bit more Defense but that is what he excels at so yeah. From your adventure up the Tower of Zot he may still have some of that Flame Armour equipped, but there was no Helmet or Gauntlets swiped from chests now were there? boo. Replace his old equip with Mythril if you so wish, you can always re-purchase the Paladin equipment at Mysidia anyway. It wouldn't hurt to buy a Mythril Gauntlet for Cid either, I still had a RubyRing on him and that's shit in comparison to Mythril. A quick summary if you will.

RubyRing ~ Def / 0 .. Mag / +3
Mythril ~ Def / +6 .. Mag / +2

Your call. Itemshop has a tiny collection so I wont bother listing it.. however, the fine Mythril town has 3 chests for you to plunder. [5000g] can be found directly above the Weapon / Armour shop within the patch of grass. Continue East along the upper track and in that small patch of grass is a [Mythril Dagger], last but not least we have a [Mythril Staff] due South then East around that building with the open door. In the tiny patch of Grass. If you want a little bit extra cash, go sell these newly found items.. but you may want to keep that Staff handy for Rosa, given the Ammunition for her Bow runs dry and your too lazy to get more.

Monsters ~ Warrior, Fiend, Red Eye, Conjurer, HugeNaga, Arachne, Clapper, Hooligan

Warrior ~ None (Stop is recommended)
Fiend ~ None (use Mute on them, counters all attacks with Charm)
Red Eye ~ Projectiles (uses Gaze, random effect of Hold or Charm)
Conjurer ~ None (has Call, random monster summoned into battle)
HugeNaga ~ None
Arachne ~ Ice, Projectiles (uses GaiaRage often, counters magic with a regular attack)

Gonna have some fun down here. At my current levels I am having a very difficult time getting myself through the random encounters.. so watch yourselves when you're down here, if you have higher levels then my group then I suppose you should be fine, I believe that this area is a Lv40+ in some respects but you may see it otherwise. Aight, on with a walkthrough.. NOTE: All those Orange patches on the floor damage you, so cast Float every level to progress through as it disappears once you go through a door.

Upon entering the Cave of Summons, go directly East (after the whole Float casting thing) and then North and you will land yourself a chest [Life], head West from this chest and there is a secret passage which leads to another chest [Ether1]. Back through the secret passage and go all the way South and get another chest [HiPotion], go West and North once you hit the end of the road and there's our exit to the next level. (remember to cast Float on all characters) Head due East and up the path continue to the East and South a touch to pilfer a chest [HiPotion], from there head North and then North/West and there's a chest in the center of that area [Cabin]. The exit to the next level is to the far East and make your way over. From the entrance go West - South - East - South and we have a chest [Life], go all the way East and there's another chest [Bestiary].

(BTW, it might be wise to run into the Town of Summons and Save your progress because some of these chests contain monsters and they are hard & fast o.o.. for the sake of the walkthrough I'll save the Town for after the Cave)

Go East a touch more to find yourself into another secret passage (weee!) go North up this passage and West as soon as you stop, continue North then West and reveal a chest [Defense Sword] but there is an insanely tough fight to get your item.. 5 Warriors (its tough IF you dont cast Slow on them). -.- Main thing you need do is cast Slow on the Warriors, then Titan over and over. Should be slaughtered in no time... after some of your guys go down too that is ^^; equip the newfound Defense Sword on Cecil and be on your merry way back down that secret passage. Go all the way South until you can go no further then make your way West and you can go no further, North a few click then go East into the small room with 3 chests [HiPotion, Venom Axe, Kikuichi Katana]. Equip the Katana on Edge, but that Venom Axe is a 2-Handed weapon thus Cecil has to sacrifice some Defense/Evade in order to equip this thing. Besides, its Attack strength is 95 as opposed to the Defense Sword and its 105. Heh.

Proceed back into the passage and go North, East once you come to a stop and navigate your way around to the center area of this current level. That's the entrance to the...

Town of Summons

Well its technically the 4th level of the Cave of Summons, but this is the make it standout from the rest of my crappy writing. As soon as you enter you should go around in a Clockwise fashion to get all these items, they stand out so I need not give you directions ~ chests in order; [Ether1, Bestiary, Rat Tail*, 5000g, 6000g].. *to get that Rat Tail you need to get on that teleporter, goto the next level, then come back down the teleporter so you can head South to get the chest. There is one treasure I haven't listed though, its a secret room that is simple enough to get to, so make your way around to that chest at the South end of the floor. Head DIRECTLY NORTH of it, then East when you hit the wall then walk into that little piece of extended walkway. Once down here you go North to receive your well deserved treasure [Elixir, Ether2, Yoichi Arrows, Yoichi Bow].. if you wish to exit to the Underworld you can go to the far South extension of walkway, but I'd call you a crazy cunt if you wanted to go through all those floors again. Equip the Bow on Rosa and watch her attack power skyrocket to be almost equal to that of Edge and Cecil o.O

Head back to that Teleporter to go back to the 4th level, then back to the center of the floor to teleport to the 5th level.. the "Town Centre" you could call this floor so I think I will. Once off the Teleporter you should make your way North, then to the West and the 2nd building as it contains a Save Point and 2 chests [Bestiary, Life], head back outside to the next building East, Inn/Itemshop, simple enough. The 2 Chocobo's are your item vendors;

Soft ~ 400g
MaidKiss ~ 60g
Mallet ~ 80g
DietFood ~ 100g
EchoNote ~ 50g
Eyedrops ~ 30g
Antidote ~ 40g
Cross ~ 100g

Life ~ 100g
Potion ~ 30g
HiPotion ~ 150g
Tent ~ 100g
Cabin ~ 500g
EagleEye ~ 100g
Gyshal ~ 50g
Remedy ~ 5000g

All done? make your way to the South end of town and you'll see 2 Building, West - Weapons / East - Armour.

Weapons first;

Whip ~ 3000g
Chain ~ 6000g
Blitz Whip ~ 10000g
Kotetsu Katana ~ 11000g
FairyRod ~ 5000g
Lunar Staff ~ 7000g
Angel Arrows ~ 110g (each, 10980 for 99)

Armour;

Aegis Shield ~ 20000g
Sorcerer Robe ~ 30000g

Is it just me? or are the prices getting more and more ridiculous >< but anyway, that's quite an array of items to purchase so let me be a bit of a guide here for you.

Cecil, doesn't require any of these items. His Diamond Shield has the same Defense as that Aegis Shield -> But the Aegis Shield has 1 point more Magic Defense and +3 Wisdom. Cecil isn't a Black Mage so its not helping any.

Edge, hell.. on your way down here you got a Kikuichi Katana which is stronger then the Kotetsu Katana (by 8 points I might add, heh). So Edge doesn't need anything from either of the Shops.

Rosa, tough call. A small stack of those Angel Arrows might come in handy (if you are still doing the Bow/Arrow combo like I am) so get around.. 40-50. Investing in the Lunar Staff might be wise to do also so you can sell off that Power Staff and get some money back. The Sorcerer Gown is a wise purchase, +5 Wisdom/Will is always helpful for any kind of Mage in the game.

Rydia, straight off the bat I'll say -> get the damn Sorcerer Gown, as mentioned above it helps out Wisdom/Will but it'll help out Rydia more-so. Why? she has her Wisdom/Will almost on par with each other, so her Summons will be that little bit more powerful then before. But as far as weaponry goes.. fuck the Whips, if you want Rydia to be a powerhouse you'll get that FairyRod -> +10 Wisdom. Need I say more?

Plus, that FairyRod has the random affect of Charm (when it actually hits, heh) aswell as being able to cast Charm when its used as an Item.

Right! once you have all of that sorted (go and Save your progress, you got some work to do) you can head out of the 2 shops and go into building directly above the Weapons shop, this is the Library, you can read some of the book's if you want to but it wont do anything for you, heh. Head down those stairs, and then down the next pair of stairs. You will find yourself in a room with non-other then Asura and Leviathan. Rydia has a short chat to both of them then you must defeat Asura to be able to talk to Leviathan. So here we go!

Yes Ma'am.

Heh, this battle is so damn easy it makes me snicker at the thought of telling you how to beat her. This is why I told you long ago not to bother coming down before you had the Wall spell because THIS is where you will be using it. At the start of the battle what I usually do is buff everybody up and let Asura do all her continuous spell casting.

Cecil, normal attacks. Do ye'ol faithful Bacchus (or Rosa cast Bersk if you have no Bacchus)
Edge
, Throw some stuff if you really want to. But you only need to regularly attack here.
Rosa
, at the beginning of the battle (this is what I do) you should cast Blink on all members, then Wall on Asura to get the party started. -> Why Blink on all members? 2 enemy attacks will miss guaranteed so its saves Curing MP for Rosa, so she can attack more and help dish out damage. Recast Blink as soon as it goes down, or go for the old fashion Curing, heh.
Rydia
, you got Summons? use them. They cant be reflected when they are cast by Rydia. Titan will not work (because Asura is floating) so use any of the others if you wish to. -> Another sneaky trick is to cast Wall on Rydia and bounce her spells back at Asura, like Bio.

What about Asura's tricks?

~ Casts Life1, Cure3, Armor on herself. Every single move she has, which benefits her as you can imagine.
~ Counters regular attacks with a regular attack.
~ Counter magic attacks with a regular attack.

(In my game, I only had to cast Cure2 a total of 2 times [Asura's refected Cure3s saved me the hassle, heh heh]. I continually cast Blink on all members [8 MP, that's hardly anything] and had only 2 KO's due to me casting slow, BOOYAH!!)

Not so hard is it? pound her down while Wall is up and be sure to keep all your members in top shape. She has 31000 HP or so ^^; so have a great time slashing her down to 0. All done? 5000 exp (if all party members are still alive, that is), yum.. she leaves a final remark "You have proven your worth, summon me at will" then Rydia learns Asura, w00t. The summon is exactly the same as what is in the battle you had, it randomly casts either Life1, Cure3 or Armor on the entire party. Its handy in a sense but with the random thing its really a gamble, pays off if you get what you want though ^.^ from here I would recommend you goto the Inn, then go Save your progress (hell, who would want to do all THAT again) and head back down to face none other then.. Leviathan.

Yes Sir.

Leviathan

Leviathan
HP: 50,001
MP: 3125
Att: 174
Def: 5
EXP: 28,000

************

Big fella isn't he? due to his insanely high amount of HP [50001 HP] it's safe to say that.. you will be here for a while yet ^^; he is water based so all I can say is, Bolt will be your best friend, and Ramuh. I believe this will be a straight forward battle so I'll do a basic listing.

~ Leviathan uses Big Wave frequently, hits all members for 1/4 of their Max HP. Cure3 or Cure4 on all should be cast ASAP after this attack.
~ Leviathan casts Ice2 on one character, can be more or less damage in comparison to his main attack. He casts this multiple times so keep an eye on everyone's HP.
~ Use Bacchus (or have Rosa cast Bersk) on both Cecil and Edge, the battle will be shortened by quite a degree.. 2 reasons. -> You dont have to give them commands every turn, and they attack much faster, automatically, and for higher damage then they normally do. ^.^
~ Summon nothing but Ramuh, if you summon anything else I should slap you like a red haired stepchild.

7000 EXP this time, even better, you can now summon Leviathan whenever you need to. Its like any other spell in Rydia's arsenal except the fact that it hits ALL monsters on screen for some massive damage, I'd use this as a last resort if your party is getting its ass kicked. With that all gone and done I would recommend that you use an Exit item or have Cecil cast Exit to save you the hassle of having to go over all the Cave shit again, or alternatively you could go back to that secret room where the Yoichi Bow was and use the exit there, takes you back to the surface. Just make sure you got that Rat Tail as it will come in handy in the next portion of the guide. Why do you need that Rat Tail? well, I'll explain in the next paragraph.

From the Cave of Summons you need (or for better words, SHOULD) head back to the surface and hop into the Enterprise and go fetch the Hovercraft (remember, you left it outside the Elban cave entrance). From the Island of Elbana you head directly East and a small nudge North and you'll find yourself at Mysidia, from there head North/East and you'll find yourself at the South end of a path of Islands. Follow these Islands North until you see a turn-off to the West, land outside good'ol Mythril Town and get into the Hovercraft from which you head South/East along the shallows and a place to land just outside that cave. So get out of your damn Hovercraft and go in.

Behold the Adamant Grotto! this is why you got the Rat Tail, talk to the tiny blue dude and he screams in excitement (like a ejaculated or something o.O) and trades you the Adamant Ore for your Rat Tail. Seem's fair enough as a Rat Tail wouldn't really help deal 9999 damage to Zeromus now would it? XD

From getting the Adamant Ore you now proceed back down to the Underworld, not to the Dwarven Castle.. nor Tomra or the Cave of Summons, you need to go pay Kokkol's Smithy a visit (far South/East corner of the Underworld). When you talk to him he seem's a bit in the blues so why not cheer him up? give him the Adamant Ore and he takes your Legend Sword and makes it more powerful. You cannot get the Sword straight away however, you must make your way through the next part of the game. In the first area of Kokkol's Smithy you can find [Remedy, HiPotion] hidden in the Pots around the West side of the place.

Odin

Haul your ass back to Baron (Save your progress too) Castle and make your way to the Eastern Tower and take those set of stairs going down (on your West as you enter), just keep on following the trail and go down the next set of stairs. You'll find yourself in another throne room! gasp! the King appears and welcomes Cecil, tells him not to grieve because of his Death and that in dieing he has attained eternal power... that will soon kick your ass ><, If your levels are low that is.

Straight forward, believe it or not.

~ Regular attack on a random character, attacks often.
~ Uses "Odin" which inflicts massive damage to all party member. Easily KO's*
~ Weak vs. Bolt, Bolt3 - Blitz - Ramuh, will end this battle quickly.

*The attack hit my entire party around the 5000 mark, bypasses Blink and any other defensive spell o.o so.. eh.. fuck, try be as quick as you can during the whole experience. Dont bother using any kind of booster items, just attack attack attack cast attack cast. ^^;

Speaks for itself doesn't it? has a small HP count for a kind of "Boss" battle.. 20,001 HP which can be shaved down in two casts of Bolt3 (9999 without fail), plus a regular attack from Cecil or Edge. All too quick wasn't it? heh, Rydia can now summon Odin which I should mention in advance -> Odin is a random shot as it IS a KO attack and not all monsters are victim to it. So if there is 4 monsters on the battlefield, and 1 monster isn't effected by KO attacks, Odin will not be successful and you've just used 45MP on a failed summon. Heh, something to keep in mind when using it.

Monsters ~ ToadLady, TinyToad, Ghost, DarkTree, Malboro, Centpede

ToadLady ~ None ("Ribbit..." makes all Toads attack, turns self into Toad when alone)
TinyToad ~ Ice (casts Toad when given the command)
Ghost ~ None (casts Fire2 and Sleep, Mute is recommended, absorbs all Elementals)
DarkTree ~ Fire (casts Bersk when attacked, regular & magic, random monster on battlefield)
Malboro ~ None (Breath > Charm, Toad, Piggy, Darkness, Silence, Mini. Digest > HP Degen)
Centpede ~ None

A word of warning first though, you'll most likely have to journey down here twice.. for reasons I'll reveal in the latter of the guide. And remember to Save your progress before you set foot in this place, its rough as guts as you'll soon be finding out for yourself, heh heh. Ok, once you enter the place you'll need to cast Float on all the party members (remember the Cave of Summons? heh) then head to the East, grab those 2 chests [Bestiary, Angel Arrows] and dont worry about the 3rd yet. You get to that via a secret path but you cant access it from your current locale, from there all you can do is head South/West down that stairway (A) to reveal the next floor! woo. From here you have 2 paths to go through, but I'll follow these in order so I dont confuse myself.

From the entrance just go South and West up that set of stairs (B), back to the 1st floor! woo. You can see the Save Point to the East, use it if you want to but otherwise its all good.. from here (If you want that chest we couldn't get to earlier) you can head North/East and you'll find yourself in a secret passage, follow it all the way and [Elvan Bow] is yours (well, its useless in comparison to the Yoichi Bow so sell the Elvan Bow at the next town you visit. Unless you want to give it to Cecil, lmao). Backtrack past the entrance and to the West, go North when you can go no further to get 2 more chests [Cabin, 1000g]. (remember to Save often down here, some monsters can screw you royal in 1 attack) Head through the next set of stairs (C) to find yourself back on the 2nd floor, directly to your East is a chest.. too bad its empty eh? make your way up the path to the West and through the first set of stairs (D) on your East.

Guess what? back on the 1st floor. Head directly North and you'll land yourself a handful of chests. [Fire Arrows, Ice Arrows, Bolt Arrows, Ether1, HiPotion] On a personal level I would simply throw those Arrows away, they have a minute attack strength and dont really help even against those monsters who are WEAK vs. that element. Back down those stairs and around to the North/West and you'll get another set of stairs (E) -> before you go down goto the East through a secret passage, there be a chest [Mute Dagger] with some monsters, have fun. <- to the final floor of this shit-hole, damn. Go directly to that chest you can see, [Elixir]. Follow the path South and you'll run into a building. Barge through the door and you'll find none-then Yang lying in bed, talk to him to trigger a small event (Yang's Wife in Fabul, enables you to visit her) grab those 2 chests [CatClaw, HellClaw] then go up those stairs and exit the damn Cave.

Since Edge has a low attack strength without his Swords, these newfound Claws are no use to any party member =\ since Yang doesn't rejoin your party anyway. Sell these off, make some profit out of your venture down that shitty cave.

NOTE: We will be heading back down the cave to get other items. Take note of the letters I have set for certain stairs for you to refer too.

Once your back on the surface, jump on the Falcon and go back topside and make your way to Fabul. Talk to Yang's Wife and she'll hand over a key item which be Pan. You know what we're gonna do with this? beat Yang around the head LOL, by request of his own wife.. damn, what do they do in their spare time? o.O one doesn't want to know, heh. Lets head back down to our new favourite location and get the *other* set of goodies we skipped past. We will aim for the new Summon last, so go to the end of the next chapter or so for details on how to go about it.. but for now;

Dont forget your Float casting, for the love of whatever the fuck you believe in. Make your way back through (A) but, take a walk around the walls to your North and head into these new set of stairs (F). From entering the new level head directly West (yes, you can walk through the wall there) and go grab those chests [HiPotion, MaidKiss, FairyRod] (secret passage on the East to get to last chest). Go down to the stairs and through that passage we just found, but follow it East then North and head through those stairs (G). From here on I have to stress that you cast Blink in battles (have Edge cast Image to save Rosa some MP), aswell as use some Bacchus or cast Bersk since some of the monster chests in here are brutal ><, particularly the one where we are going to be getting the best treasures from. Head East and follow your nose down South and you find 4 chests [Remedy, 2000g, Kamikaze, 3000g] continue your warpath South and pillage the chests that are open [Bestiary, Exit, MaidKiss x2, Ether1].. and simply, walk down that pit in the middle of all the chests.

Simply walk North, then West once you hit the end and you'll see a Teleporter, use it. And here is where the PAIN begins, mwuhaha. 6 Chests to your East, all monster chests so I'll just make a list for these fuckers.

TIPS
~ Vs Ghosts, have Rosa cast Mute on her first go (on all Ghosts, not just one).
~ If you have Medusa Arrows, equip them on Rosa, the random Petrify will save your ass.
~ Cast Leviathan just about every turn Rydia has 'cuz it will DEFIANTLY save your ass.
~ Mute, Slow, Blink and Stop will be your best friends. Unless you kill them before you get a chance to cast.
~ HEAL UP before you enter another chest battle, your MP will surely be abused during these encounters.
~ When your in battle, dont be afraid to use an Elixir if Rosa or Rydia are short on juice.
~ Malboro = Death, HrGlass1 = Life. USE IT WHEN FIGHTING MALBOROs.

Chests, First row Left to Right.

Inferno ~ Ghost x6
Blizzard ~ Ghost x6
LitStorm ~ Ghost x6

Second Row, Left to Right

FullMoon ~ DarkTree x2 Malboro x2
Avenger Sword ~ Malboro x4 (HrGlass1 - 2 - 3 .... USE THEM!)
Medusa Arrows ~ Centpede x2

One think I would recommend doing is, getting all the chests bar that Avenger Sword. Why? because its fucking hard to knock down 4 Malboro's when they use Breath instantly. So go outside (Teleporter to the East) and Save your progress, its better then doing all the chests over again, just retrace your steps to get back down and then take a crack at the Malboro's, heh.

That's all for the Treasure side of the Cave.. but guess what? we gotta go down again to get the new Summon now dont we? Make your way down to where Yang was (A, B, C, E), and use the Pan item on him, it wakes him up! (no shit!, a shovel to the head would get you thinking) first thing he thinks about is going to training on some karate, heh. A scene goes on about Yang wanting to join up but the Sylphs tell him to rest and let them take his place, and voila. "Rydia learnt Sylph". Now, how about we get the fuck out of this cave and never return? works for me!
